BATTERY POWERED WATER ALARM

OPERATING AND INSTALLATION MANUAL

TO ENSURE SAFE AND RELIABLE OPERATION, CAREFULLY READ THIS SERVICE AND INSTALLATION

MANUAL IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE INSTALLING AND / OR USING THIS PRODUCT.

A 9V Battery (Included) is required. To install battery, slide open battery

compartment on side of unit. gently pull the battery connection wires out just

enough to connect the battery to the snap connector. Once connected, carefully

push the battery into the side compartment. Do Not Force the battery as this may

damage the wire connections. Slide the compartment door back into place. You

are now ready to place the Alarm into service.

To install the Battery Powered Alarm, simply place it upright on any surface that

you would like to monitor for potential unwanted water. Make sure that the unit

is on a surface that will not be interfered with where the unit may be accidentally

knocked over. THE UNIT MUST BE IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION WITH

THE TWO BOTTOM METAL PROBES IN CONTACT WITH THE

SURFACE FOR IT TO OPERATE PROPERLY. DO NOT PLACE THE

UNIT ON ANY METAL SURFACE AS THIS WILL CREATE FALSE

ALARMS.

The Battery Powered Water Alarm may be wall mounted using the two mounting

holes on the back of the unit. A Mounting Template is printed on the back of

this page. Simply tape this template to the wall you will mount the unit and drill

appropriate pilot holes for the screws you will use. The Alarm is to be mounted

within 6 feet of the surface to be monitored. Standard #5 Flat Head Wood Screws

(1/8 - Shank Diameter with 1/4” Head - Diameter) at the appropriate length are

recommended (Not Included).

Once the unit is mounted simply detach the probe plate from the base of the

unit and secure this plate with the metal probes facing down to the surface to be

monitored.
