● If storing the Outboard indoors or on land, it is recommended to store the Outboard in
the shade and out of direct sunlight when possible, to ensure the motor is cool when
ready for use so that the motor isn’t immediately subjected to power derating due to
temperature.
● If storing the Outboard outdoors on the water in high ambient temperatures and direct
sunlight, it is recommended to keep the motor tilted down and in the water to minimize
solar heating and ensure the motor is cool when ready for use so that the motor isn’t
immediately subjected to power derating due to temperature.
