Transmitting and receiving data without acknowledgment (service:
SDN)
Sequence of the transmission

In contrast to the SDA service, the sender does not receive
an acknowledgment from the receiver CP with the SDN
service, but simply an acknowledgment from its own local
CP.
Request to layer 2
The data preceded by an
8-byte header are sent
with the SEND HDB
The receiver is informed
that data have been
received
The receiver fetches the
received data with the RECEIVE
HDB from the CP.
The first 8 bytes contain
management information (header)
