9.5 Measuring Voltage from AC Step-Down Transformer
For P552W, P552WH and P552WLP Dryers:
9.5.1 Open Panel (see section 8.8 ).
9.5.2 Locate the POWER
Switch.
9.5.3 Use a Voltmeter to measure
the voltage (inside Dryer):
9.5.3.1 Place the probes
between the Power
Switch and terminal
insulation so that they
touch the metal contacts
for BLACK (BROWN)
wire #1 and WHITE (BLUE) wire #2.
9.5.4 Close Panel.
The voltage should measure 110 - 125 VAC.
If the voltage at the power switch measures less than 110 VAC and the incoming
power voltage is within specifications, it is recommended that the AC transformer
is replaced. See section 11.5 for ordering information
WARNING!
Extreme care should be exercised to avoid contact with live
electrical circuits. It is highly recommended that you remove all
jewelry before performing any procedures.
