Reactivating The Boat After Storage
• Charge and install the batteries.
• Install the drain plugs in the hull.
• Check the engine for damage and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for recommissioning.
• Perform all routine maintenance.
• Check all hose clamps for tightness.
• Pump the antifreeze from the water systems and flush several times with fresh water.
• Check and lubricate the steering system.
• Clean and wash the boat.
• Install all cushions and canvas.
After Launching
• Carefully check all water systems for leaks. Operate each system one at a time checking for
leaks and proper operation.
• Check the bilge pump manual and automatic switches.
• Carefully monitor the gauges and check for leakage and abnormal noises.
• Operate the boat at slow speeds until the engine temperature stabilizes and all systems are
operating normally.
• Carefully check all water systems and the engine hoses for leaks. Operate each system one at
a time checking for leaks and proper operation.
