2270 CENTER CONSOLE
• Check and lubricate the steering system.
• Clean and wash the boat.
• Install all cushions and canvas.
After Launching
• Carefully check all water systems for leaks. Operate each system one at a time checking for
leaks and proper operation.
• Check the bilge pump manual and automatic switches.
• Prime the fuel system and start the engine. When the engine starts, check the cooling system
port below the engine cowling for a strong stream of water. This insures that the cooling pump
is operating.
• Carefully monitor the gauges and check for leakage and abnormal noises.
• Operate the boat at slow speeds until the engine temperature stabilizes and all systems are
operating normally.
• Carefully check all water systems and the engine hoses for leaks. Operate each system one at
a time checking for leaks and proper operation.
