Chapter 6:
VENTILATION SYSTEM
6.1 Head Compartment Ventilation
The head compartment is ventilated through a screened ventilation opening on the head compartment door.
6.2 Carbon Monoxide and Proper Ventilation
The Safety Equipment chapter in this manual contains important information on carbon monoxide. Read the
section entitled "Carbon Monoxide" in the Safety Equipment chapter of this Owner's Manual.
6.3 Bilge Compartment Ventilation
A flow of air into the bilge compartment is provided by four vents located on either side of the cockpit, under
the gunwale boards. This provides adequate air movement in the bilge compartment.
6.4 Maintenance
Periodically lubricate all hinges and latch assemblies with a light oil.
Periodically clean and coat gasket materials with silicone to help keep them pliable.
