Interior Equipment
8.1 Entry Doors
The port and starboard below deck areas
are accessed through the hinged acrylic
doors. A lockable latch secures the door in
the closed position. DO NOT leave the doors
unlatched. Latch it in the full “CLOSED”
position.
The doors are made of acrylic plastic. Acrylic
plastic scratches easily and can chip. Refer
to Routine Maintenance for information
regarding proper care of acrylic plastic.
8.2 Port Side Berth
Port Side Berth
The port side below deck berth provides a
seating area that can be converted into a
single berth. To convert pull out using the
integrated handle. Pull the seat forward until
the forward edge locks into the notches in
the fiberglass. Once in position put pressure
on the middle of the berth and it will lock in to
place. To return it to a seating position pull
up on the release strap that is in between
the two lower cushions. Once the latch
releases pull up on the side of the cushion
and the seat will return to its upright position.
8.3 Audio Systems
Stereo
The stereo is located in the forward face of
the port side cabinetry. The stereo can use
an iPod® connection, an MP3 USB input, or
a streaming Bluetooth® signal. Remotes are
located in both the bow and transom areas
for convenience. These remotes can control
several functions of the stereo. An optional
satellite radio system, made up of a receiver
and an antenna can be installed by a quali-
fied electronics installer. Refer to the stereo
owner's manual for additional operating
information.
Stereo Amplifier
The stereo amplifier is located inside the
port side cabinet. To access, pull out the
upper drawer. Release the drawer slide
locks by pushing in on the plastic locking
lever and pull the drawer completely out of
the tracks. This will expose the amplifier on
the wall behind this drawer. The amplifier
has controls to adjust the sound system
response. Refer to the amplifier owner's
manual for additional operating information.
8.4 Carbon Monoxide Detector
The Safety Section in this manual contains
important information on carbon monoxide
and the carbon monoxide detector. Read
section titled Carbon Monoxide.
8.5 Air Conditioner (Optional)
The reverse cycle air conditioner can be
operated to cool or heat. The port side berth
and head areas are cooled by the same air
conditioning unit. It is located in between the
head and berth areas. It is accessed through
the close out panel under the head step. The
unit is controlled by a thermostat in the berth
and protected by a breaker in the AC
! CAUTION
Keep the below deck doors latched in
the closed position. If the door is
unlatched, it could swing unexpect-
edly as the boat rocks, causing injury
or damage.
