2.6 Engine Stop Switch
Your Pursuit is equipped with an engine stop
switch and lanyard located on the helm. For
additional protection the engine well access
door is also equipped with an engine stop
switch. Do not enter the engine well area
while the engines are running.. When the
lanyard is pulled away, it will shut off the
engines.
Attach the engine stop switch lanyard to a
strong piece of clothing on the operator. The
engines will not start if the clip is not inserted
into the stop switch. Make sure the lanyard
is properly attached to the engine stop
switch before attempting to start the engine.
DO NOT use the switch to stop the boat
under normal operation. Test the switch peri-
odically, if the switch is not operating prop-
erly, DO NOT use the boat. Contact your
Pursuit Dealer and have it repaired.
Refer to the engine owner's manual for more
information on the engine stop switch.
