TROUBLESHOOTING
Why
is
the
displayed
cove
red
distance
incorre

t?
Have
you
performed a calibration? For optimum results the
calibration
has
to
be
performed for "
walk
ing" as
we
ll
as
"
running"
. A shuffling gait,
bad
shoes and varying surface can
lead
to
inaccurate measurements. A lower distance is
measured
when
climbing steps, because the
wa
lch is
designed
for
even
surfaces. Choose the used during
calibration speed when walki
ng
or
running. Pl
ease
note that
the measuremen
ts
of
untrai
ned
persons can
be
inaccurate/irregular.
Why
does
the heart rate mo
nit
or watch
not
display
the
heart rate?
Please
check
the
chest
bell.
Possible
causes
of
error
are
:
• The chest belt is
not

ioned correctly.
• The skin is

cold or dry.
• The sensor contacts are
not
mo
istened or
are
d
irt
y.
• Atmospheric
or
wireless interterences appear
due
to
for
example high
voltage lines
(abo
ve
or
below ground),
overhead electrical
li
nes
, electric motors,
car
engines,
mob
ile phones, airplanes etc.

Weak
battery in t
he
chest belt · pl
ease
change.
• Distance
to
the chest belt is too large (
max
.
60
em).
• Si
gnals
from other chest belts in the surrounding
of
less
than 2 metres
can
be the
cause
of
incorrect values.
The display
of
the heart rate is incorrect, why?
• Pe

the chest belt are not
moistened.
• Check if the chest belt fits tightly to the chest.
• Also
check
the battery
• We advise against the simultaneous
use
of
the heart rate
monitor watch and a wireless bicycle computer, because the
signals from t
he
transmitter
of
the bicycle computer can

weak, hardly readabl

what can I
do?
Rep
lace the battery
as
soon as t
he
display weakens

when
it
fades totally. Always pay attention
to
the polarity
when
inserting a
new
battery. lNhen the battery
has
been removed
and
reinserted, the personal data has to be entered again.
Why does the display light
not
work?
Perhaps the battery is empty? Please check the battery and
replace it
if it is empty (3 V I CR2032). Note the +/- pole.
