Andererseits können Flüssigkeiten und hohe Luftfeuchte die Elektronik des Gerätes beschädigen, indem sie Korrosionen verursachen. Thermische Beschädigung Sofern das Gerät kurzweilig oder dauerhaft einer Temperatur unter 0 °C oder über 70 °C ausgesetzt wurde, ist damit der Verlust jeden Garantie-Anspruches verbunden. Insbesondere besteht kein Garantie-Anspruch für Geräte, welche bei einem Brand hohen Temperaturen und Rauch ga sen ausgesetzt waren.
2 Sicherheitshinweise 2.1 Darstellung und Aufbau von Warnhinweisen Die Warnhinweise sind handlungsbezogen und wie folgt aufgebaut und abgestuft: GEFAHR Art und Quelle der Gefahr! Erläuterung zur Art und Quelle. f Maßnahmen zur Abwendung der Gefahr. GEFAHR Unmittelbare Lebensgefahr oder schwere Verletzungen. VORSICHT Mögliche leichte Verletzungen, Sachoder Umweltschäden. 2.
Batteriewechsel Ein Batteriewechsel ist nicht erforderlich und technisch ausgeschlossen, da das Gerät nicht geöffnet werden darf. Äußere Einflüsse Äußere Einflüsse können zu Funktionsstör ungen und einer Beschädigung des Gerätes sowie der Batterie führen. Schützen Sie das Gerät vor: • Nässe • Kälte • direkter Sonneneinstrahlung und übermäßiger Wärme (Beschädigung der Batterie) • Staub und Feinstaub • Spinnen- und Insektenbefall • Fett • Nikotin- und Lackdämpfen 12 • • • Anstrichen (z. Bei Räumen mit Unterzügen (z. B. Holzbalken) ist die Anzahl und Anordnung der Geräte abhängig von der Höhe der Unterzüge und von der Fläche der durch die Unterzüge entstandenen Felder. 4.
Beachten Sie Folgendes bei der Standor tauswahl in Räumen mit schrägen Raumdecken: f Geräte mindestens 0,5 m und höchstens 1 m von der Deckenspitze entfernt montieren 4.
5 Montage Das Gerät wird von einem Magnetträger am Montageort gehalten. Der Magnetträger kann durch Kleben oder Bohren montiert werden. Um Verletzungen durch unsachgemäße Montage vorzubeugen, sind die Hinweise in dieser Anleitung zwingend anzuwenden sowie die allgemeinen Sicherheitsvorschriften zu beachten. VORSICHT Mögliche Sachschäden! Durch das Verwenden eines anderen Befestigungsmittels (nicht mitgeliefert) oder durch falsche Voraussetzungen am Montageort kann das Gerät herunterfallen.
6 Inbetriebnahme Gehen Sie bei dieser Montagear t wie folgt vor: (1) Magnetträger montieren f Kapitel „Klebemontage nach EN 14604:2005/AC:2008“ auf Seite 22 beachten (2) Gerät in Betrieb nehmen f Kapitel 6 „Inbetriebnahme“ auf Seite 25 beachten (3) zusätzliche Klebefolie auf dem Magnetträgerhalteblech am Gerät befestigen f Schutzfolie auf einer Seite von der Klebefolie entfernen f Klebefolie auf das Magnetträgerhalteblech am Gerät legen und andrücken f Schutzfolie auf der anderen Seite entfernen (4) Gerät a
7 Stör- und Fehlermeldungen Das Gerät prüft automatisch einmal pro Minute seine Funktionsbereitschaft. Einschränkungen in der Funktion zeigt das Gerät in For m von Stör- und Fehlermeldungen an. Stellt das Gerät von der Regel abweichende Umwelteinflüsse fest, regelt es die Empfindlichkeit seiner Detektionselektronik automatisch nach. 7.
9 Außerbetriebnahme 10 Zubehör, Ersatzteile und Service 8 Instandhaltung 8.1 Wartung In regelmäßigen Abständen müssen Sie Sicht- und Funktionsprüfungen durchführen. 3 Overview External influences External influences can cause malfunction and damage to the device and the battery. Protect the device from: • Moisture • Cold • Direct sunlight or excessive heat (damage to the battery) • Dust and particulate matter • Spiders and insect infestation • Grease • Nicotine and paint fumes • Coatings (e.g., wall paint) • Adhesives • Dirt of any kind Immersion in water Immersion in water can cause damage to the device. Open the device The device is a closed system.

The use of smoke alarm devices is governed by DIN 14676. The magnetic carrier can be mounted by gluing or drilling.
CAUTION Possible property damage! The mounting of the device according to vfdb 14/01 (Q) establishes a permanent connection between the magnetic carrier and the device. Thus, a subsequent removal of the device is prevented. It is difficult to carry out maintenance. If the device is disassembled, it can cause damage to the device and the mounting surface. f Use the additional adhesive film only to prevent theft. f Put the device in operation before attaching the additional adhesive film.
6 Putting into 7 Fault and error messages Note the following when putting into operation: (1) Push the splint pin sideways off of activation button. (2) Push activation button flush. The device automatically checks its operational readiness once a minute.The device displays functional limitations in the form of error and alarm messages. If the device detects environmental influences differing from the rule, it regulates the sensitivity of its detection electronics automatically. 7.
8 Maintenance • • • Insects or micro-organisms that have overcome the insect barriers of the device Strong cooking, water and / or frying fumes and room, fragrance and insect repellent sprays Extreme temperature fluctuations or very strong electromagnetic radiation in close proximity influence the device Cigarette smoke triggers an alarm only in the immediate vicinity and at a high concentration. You can take the following corrective measures: f Stop alarm (see chapter “Alarm stop“ on page 50).
9 Decommissioning 10 Accessories, spare parts and service 9.1 Final decommissioning The smoke alarm device will reach the end of its useful life at the latest after 12 years of usage according to the intended purpose. f Replace the device at the end of this useful life. 9.2 Disposal According to the EU´s Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive, this product should never be placed in domestic waste.
