Locking and Unlocking the Keypad
Turning Keypad Tones On or Off
You can lock your radio's keypad to avoid inadvertent key entry.
Procedure:
Press [ 1.
MENU
] to access menu.
Press [ 2.

to Utilities and press [
MENU
] to select.
Press [ 3. /

to Radio Settings and press [
MENU
] to select.
Press [ 4. /

to Keypad Lock and press [
MENU
] to select.
The display shows Keypad Locked and returns to the Home screen.5.
To unlock the keypad, press [ 6.

The display shows Keypad Unlocked and returns to the Home screen.7.
You can enable and disable keypad tones if needed
