7. Optional: Install a thermal pad on the replacement module.
Tip
QNAP recommends installing thermal pads on the memory modules to enhance cooling
efficiency and ensure consistent performance. Thermal pads can be purchased at
shop.qnap.com.
a. Remove the protective film from the thermal pad.
b. Apply the thermal pad to the module.
