6.4.2 RAID Management Tool

y the VS-101, VS-201, NVR-104.
The RAID management tool allows you to carry out capacity expansion, RAID
migration, or spare drive configuration with the original drive data reserved.
 Expand capacity
This function enables capacity expansion of a RAID configuration by replacing
the member drives one by one. This option is supported by RAID 1, RAID 5, or
RAID 6 configurations.
 Add hard drive
This function enables adding new drive member to a RAID configuration. It is
supported by RAID 5 configuration.
 Migrate
This function enables a drive configuration to be migrated to a different RAID
configuration. You can use this feature to:
- Migrate a single drive to RAID 1, 5, or 6
- Migrate a RAID 1 configuration to RAID 5 or 6
- Migrate a RAID 5 configuration to RAID 6
