Presets
Select, recall and store channel settings.
1.
Presets Tab
– Selects Presets screen.
2.
Current Preset
– The current preset.
3.
Preset Info Button
(Factory only) – After selecting the Instrument, Type,
and Preset, press this button to see more information about the preset.
Information provided varies and may include style of music, instrument
details, microphone/pick-up type and position, or other helpful information.
4.
Factory / User Switch
– Displays a list of Factory or User presets.
• Factory Presets – A library of QSC designed input-channel presets. (—
Figure 25)
• User Presets – User Presets may be stored to and recalled from Internal
memory or an External (USB) storage device. (— Figure 26)
5.
Instrument List
(Factory only) – Displays a list of instrument categories.
For example, Drums, Strings etc. Select the instrument assigned to this
channel.
6.
Type List
(Factory only) – Displays a list of instruments within the
Instrument category you selected. Select one.
7.
Preset Name List
(Factory only) – Displays a list of factory-designed
presets, select one.
8.
Recall Preset Button
– Recalls the selected Preset. Recalls all parameters
for an Input Channel except:
• Analog/Multi-track state
• Track/Arm button
• Cue
• Mute
• Channel Link state
9.
Omit Levels Switch
– When engaged, Channel Faders, FX Sends, and Aux Sends are not
recalled.
10.
Omit Name Switch
– When engaged, preset Channel Names are not recalled.
11.
Omit Phantom Switch
– When engaged, Phantom power “On” setting is not recalled.
12.
Save / Save As Button
(User only) – Displays a page with options for naming a preset
and selecting internal or USB storage destination.
13.
Internal List
(User only) – Displays a list of user-defi ned presets that are saved on the mixer.
14.
External (USB) List
(User only) – Displays a list of user-defi ned presets that are saved on a USB drive currently connected to the mixer.
15.
Copy to USB Button
(User only) – Copy the selected Internal preset to a USB drive connected to the mixer. Cannot copy to Factory or to the
same location as the selected fi le.
16.
Copy to Internal Button
(User only) – Copy the selected USB preset to the Internal Mixer storage. Cannot copy to Factory or to the same
location as the selected fi le.
17.
Delete Button
(User only) – Select a User Preset and touch this button to delete the Preset.
