MIDI Setup
The MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) Setup provides the means to use a USB MIDI foot switch to control many functions of the
TouchMix mixer.

1. Touch to select the MIDI channel. The current MIDI
assignments are displayed on buttons 1 – 8. Blue
indicates the MIDI channel is selected and can be
assigned/unassigned or renamed.
2. Name of the MIDI function. Click to rename. When
you change the MIDI assignment for the MIDI
button, the name changes to the default name of
your selection.
3. Select an item from each of the lists in the order
shown – Action, Selection, Detail.
4. Blue indicates the current selection for the list.
5. MIDI Assignment – The name of the assignment
made internally to the USB MIDI foot switch button.
6. Learn MIDI –
i. Touch this button to teach the TouchMix what
MIDI command should trigger the selected
action. A message displays saying, “Waiting for
incoming MIDI message...”
ii. Press a button on the USB MIDI foot switch.
iii. When the learned MIDI command is given, the TouchMix responds by executing the assigned function.
7. Unassign – Touch this button to remove the assignment to the selected MIDI button.
8. Assign – Touch this button to complete the assignment.
NOTE: PITCH CORRECT
– This function disables or enables the Pitch Correct feature, it does not affect the assignment of the feature
to a channel.
