9.6 ClearVue PDF
ClearVue PDF displays Portable Document Format les. These les usually have a .pdf
extension. To open a PDF le on your Pocket PC Phone:
1. Invoke ClearVue PDF by selecting Start > Programs > ClearVue PDF.
2. Select Open... from the File menu to view a list of .pdf les on your Pocket PC Phone. Tap
the le you want to view.
Moving around in a document
When a document is larger than one screen, scrollbars enable you to move around. You
can navigate around a .PDF le in the following ways:
n Tap the up/down and right/left arrow "buttons" on the scrollbars to move one line in the
desired direction.
n You can also press the Up/Down/Left/Right buttons on your Pocket PC Phone's navigation
pad to conveniently move around the screen.
n Press your stylus on the space between the arrow and the scrollbar to move one screen
to the desired position.
n Use the left, right, up and down arrow keys on the soft keyboard to move to the desired
position.
n Press your stylus anywhere on the screen and drag it, to move the display to the desired
position.
Enlarging and reducing the size of the display
The Zoom feature allows you to enlarge or reduce the document content on display. Tap
Zoom on the Command Bar to open the Zoom menu. From the menu, you can select a pre-
dened zoom ratio, or Page Width or Whole Page. If you want to enter your own arbitrary
zoom ratio, select Custom... from the Zoom menu.
