Device Ports
Your Fujitsu LifeBook notebook and the External Monitor/LAN adapter cable come equipped with
multiple ports to which you can connect external devices including: disk drives, keyboards, printers, etc.
The following table indicates the ports on the system and/or the adapter cable.

Universal Serial Bus Ports
The Universal Serial Bus 2.0 ports (USB) allow you
to connect USB devices such as external game
pads, pointing devices, keyboards and/or speakers.
There are two USB 2.0 port on your notebook, both
on the front edge.
In order to connect a USB device, follow these
steps:
1 Open the USB cover on the left side of the system.
2 Align the connector with the port opening.
Push the connector into the port until it is seated
