External Video Port
DUE TO ONGOING CHANGES IN USB TECHNOLOGY AND STANDARDS, NOT ALL USB DEVICES AND/OR
DRIVERS ARE GUARANTEED TO WORK.
The external video port allows you to connect an
external monitor or LCD projector. Note that in
order to use a video device directly with the
system, you must first attach the included external
video/LAN adapter cable. In order to connect an
external video device, follow these easy steps:
Connecting external video to the system
1 First connect the external video/LAN adapter
cable to the adapter connector at the front of the
system (Figure 26). Align the cable connector
with the adapter connector and push the
connector into the port until it is seated.
2 Align the external video cable to the adapter
cable. Tighten the two hold-down screws, located
on each side of the connector.

PRESSING THE [FN] + [A] KEYS ALLOWS YOU TO CHANGE YOUR SELECTION OF WHERE TO SEND YOUR
DISPLAY VIDEO. EACH TIME YOU PRESS THE KEY COMBINATION, YOU WILL STEP TO THE NEXT CHOICE,
STARTING WITH THE BUILT-IN DISPLAY PANEL ONLY, MOVING TO THE EXTERNAL MONITOR ONLY, FINALLY
MOVING TO BOTH THE BUILT-IN DISPLAY PANEL AND AN EXTERNAL MONITOR.
