Windows Millennium Edition
This chapter describes the Windows Millennium Edition network
driver installation.
Driver Installation
Atheros recommends that you remove any existing Atheros NDIS driver on
the PC system before installing Version 1.0 release of the NDIS driver. See
“Driver Uninstallation” on page 3-4 for the instructions on how to remove
previous driver releases. When the system no longer has the Atheros NDIS
driver installed, insert the AR5001 Wireless Network Adapter into a 32-bit
CardBus slot, and follow these steps to install the NDIS driver:
1. Wait for the following dialog box to appear. Choose “Specify the location
of the driver (Advanced),” and click Next to continue.
