7 Required Labeling on the Module
7.1 Global regulatory labeling on the module
The ODM may be instructed by the OEM integrator to affix a global regulatory label on the
module including certification numbers and logos for all countries specified by the OEM
integrator. QTI makes available in PDF format a regulatory label template for each certified
module, including the applicable certification IDs and logo. Refer to instructions in Section 7.2.
The system integrator is responsible for confirming that the final regulatory label on the module
contains all required certification IDs for all countries in which the system will be marketed.
It is recommended that the module ODM implement a review and sign-off process, as well as a
change control process, with each OEM integrator to ensure that the labels meet the OEM
integrator requirements.
QTI provides sample artwork with the applicable certification numbers for a module. The
provided .PDF document can be opened using Adobe Illustrator so the sample artwork can be
copied and modified as needed. The final label produced by the module manufacturer will vary
from our sample. However, the logos and certification numbers must be those shown in the
sample global label.

7.2 Downloading sample global label with certification IDs
Labeling instructions are limited to those countries for which Qualcomm has obtained radio
modular approvals. Integrators/ODM can use their CreatePoint access to obtain the current list of
certified countries.
