6. Messaging
You can receive E-mail and text messages in Messaging. Text messages are
sent and received through your phone service provider by using a phone number
as the message address.
Your phone supports the following messaging services:
z SMS (Short Messaging Service) allows you to send short messages. To
send an SMS message, your must register for SMS service with your service
provider. For more information, please contact your network provider.
z MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) allows you to send multimedia
messages. In a MMS message, you can include text, pictures, photos, sound
files or recorded voice.
z Chat allows you to send messages back and forth with friends. This feature is
network dependent. This feature is supported by the O
2 SMS Plus
application.
z Voice Mail: You can forward a call to your voice mail box when you are
unable to receive a call. The voice mail centre will send you a notification.
z E-mail: You can send or receive E-mails with your Pocket PC phone by
either synchronizing your Outlook E-mails or connecting to the Internet.
z IM (Instant Messaging service): Your Pocket PC Phone is equipped with
Pocket MSN application. To send instant messages, you need to connect to
the Internet.
