Getting Started When light on tablet is orange, tablet is charging. Right Side: When light on tablet is green, tablet is fully charged. 1 Connect one end of the Power Adapter to the tablet and the other end into an electrical outlet as shown. IMPORTANT: Use only the VIZIO Power Adapter with your tablet. Using other adapters may cause damage to your tablet.
2 If you plan to connect to your network wirelessly, make sure you know your router or modem’s* wireless password. Have this information ready. *Router/Modem/Internet service sold separately.
3 Press the Power button on the tablet, then follow the on-screen instructions to setup Windows 8.
4 Your tablet is ready to use. Save the product packaging. It can be used to ship the tablet if servicing is needed.

Gestures in Windows 8 Charms Swipe from the right edge for system commands. Swiping from the right side of the screen reveals the charms with system commands.
Gestures in Windows 8 Swipe from the left edge to switch apps. Swiping from the left side of the Touchpad reveals thumbnails of your open apps so you can switch to them quickly.
App Commands Swipe from the top edge for app commands. App commands are revealed by swiping from the bottom or top edge.

Connecting a USB Device 1 A Micro USB adapter is required if you wish to connect USB devices to your tablet. Connect your USB device or cable to one of the USB ports. The USB logo on the cable or device should be facing up.

Increase the volume control in Windows. Confirm that the correct default playback device is selected. If you are using external speakers or headphones, ensure they are securely connected to the PC. If they have a manual volume control, increase the volume using that control. I am having trouble with my PC.
