Making an emergency call
You may make an emergency call even if your SIM card is not inserted in your phone.
Dial 112 or the emergency number of your local region .
2 For local emergency number, contact your local authorities.
2 On some networks, emergency calls can be made using the 112 number without a SIM card
inserted.
Dialing calls
, Use the full STD area code even if you are calling to a person in the same town.

During the call, the screen displays either the phone number dialed and a connection graphic,
or the name and picture ID of the called party, if they have been previously allocated to the

Receiving calls
When someone calls your number, the ringer will play (p.22), the LED glows in the specified
colour, and the phone number of the caller may be displayed if the calling line identification
facility is available and the caller has activated the feature. If the caller’s phone number has
been related and stored in your phonebook with a name and a picture ID (p.50), that name and
picture will be displayed. If the caller has withheld his/her caller ID, the message “Restricted”
is displayed. If the network service provider cannot identify the number, the message
“Unknown” is displayed.
2 When your phone is receiving MMS, the incoming call signal may be ignored. The caller may be notified
that the line is currently unavailable.
