Basic Calls and Phone Use
• if you are currently on the phone and did not activate Call waiting .
You will be notified of a voice mail message by an icon in the standby screen. If voice mail
service is not included in your service provider's package, you will have to subscribe to the
service separately and configure the settings manually.
, Contact your service provider for details on your voice mail number.

To set the voice mail number
☛ ➔ Phonebook ➔ Lists ➔  until the Voice mail screen is displayed.
☛ Number to edit the voice mail number ➔ Left Softkey to confirm.
To retrieve a voice mail
☛ Voice mail to call the voice mail centre.
2 Alternatively, press and hold 1 in the standby screen to call your Voice mail directly.
To divert a received call to the voice mail centre
Make sure the correct voice mail number is set beforehand.
When you receive a call you wish to divert:
☛ or Right Softkey to divert the call to the voice mail centre.
Volume control
☛ To adjust the earpiece volume during a call,  or  to increase volume and  or 
to decrease volume.
Keylock/Auto key lock
You can lock the keypad from the standby screen. Also with the auto key lock function
activated, the phone locks the keypad automatically the standby screen is displayed for 30
seconds with no operation.
☛ To lock/unlock the keypad, press and hold # from the standby screen.
☛ To automatically lock the keypad, ➔ Settings ➔ Phone .
☛ Highlight Auto key lock ➔ Left Softkey to toggle it On/Off.

Screen Saver
The phone is designed with the screen saver function. When the standby screen is displayed
for 35 seconds, the screen saver activates automatically.
2 If the keylock/auto key lock function is also activated, the screen saver activates 35 seconds after the
activation of keylock.
