Settings
Set automatic or manual network selection
☛ ➔ Settings ➔ Network ➔ Auto network .
☛ Left Softkey to toggle the automatic network search On/Off ➔ A tick in the check box
beside the option indicates the activation of Auto network.
, Before you manually select a network, ensure it is covered under the agreement
you have with your service provider.
Pref. network
View/Edit network list
When Auto network is activated, the network will be selected according to the ranking order in your
Pref. network. You can manually select a separate network from the list of the GSM networks available.
☛ ➔ Settings ➔ Network ➔ Pref. network to display the Pref. network screen with
Home Network information.
☛ To display the list of networks you have added to your list, Left Softkey.
☛ To edit the list, Left Softkey again ➔ Insert or Add to end to display the Net operator
screen, listing the major net operators.
☛ Highlight the net operator you wish to insert/add to the end of your list ➔ Left Softkey
to confirm inserting/adding it to your list ➔ Left Softkey to return to the
Network menu
screen.
Delete network list
☛ ➔ Settings ➔ Network ➔ Pref. network to display the Pref. network screen with
Home Network information.
☛ To display the list of networks you have added to your list, Left Softkey.
☛ Highlight the network you wish to delete ➔ Left Softkey ➔ Delete ➔ Left Softkey to
confirm the deletion ➔ Left Softkey to return to the
Network menu screen.

Band

➔ Settings ➔ Network ➔ Band .
☛ Highlight the required band from the menu: 900MHz , 1800MHz ; 1900MHz , 900/
1800MHz and 900/1900MHz ➔ Left Softkey to select and turn the radio button on.
, Frequency bands must be adjusted to suit the location when roaming (Europe,
U.S., etc.), for the phone to work properly.
GPRS info
This function displays details about the size and time of the data that has been transferred to
your phone via GRPS frequency.
☛ ➔ Settings ➔ Network ➔ GPRS info .
☛ Left Softkey to reset the parameter or Right Softkey to return to Network screen.
