Messages
2 Depending on the type of message you are viewing, the available options menu may change.
Reading a message
Messages Inbox/Draft/Outbox Select a message View.
2 Please review message only after the whole series of SMS has been received by your phone. When
the phone has not finished receiving the long message, there will be a popup notification that the
message is incomplete and it cannot be viewed.
2 If you receive a message at the same time the alarm is due to ring, you will not see any popup
notification that a new message is received; as alarm clock is a higher priority event. Likewise, no
notification will occur when the message is received during a call or when there is an incoming call. The
phone will emit a beep tone only if the call is put on hold.

Messages Create.
The phone displays Edit screen for a new SMS
entry
Input your message.
When finished, Left Softkey Send Left
Softkey Input the recipient’s number.
To send the SMS to the phone number in the
phonebook list, Left Softkey
Phonebook
The Phonebook (Complete) screen is displayed
Highlight the phonebook entry you wish to send the
SMS to
Left Softkey.
After the recipient’s phone number is entered in
the To field, Left Softkey
Send.
After sending, the SMS will be saved in the
Outbox.
2When the storage memory is full, you cannot create a new
message. Please delete unnecessary messages from time to
time.
2You can send SMS messages to a group of not exceeding
10 recipients.
2For inputting multiple addresses, insert ’;’ (semicolon)
between addresses by pressing and holding #.

When creating an SMS in the
Edit
screen,
Left Softkey
to display the following options:

Send Sends the edited SMS and subsequently save it in Outbox

This number indicates
the size of the
message equivalent
to the number of SMS
messages.
This number indicates
the remaining number
of characters available.
