Camera
Taking a picture
Camera.
2 You can also access Camera by pressing and holding from the standby screen.
to capture the picture.
To save the picture you just took, (The picture is saved in the photos folder in My
data).
To send the picture, Left Softkey (The picture is automatically saved) Create a mail
(p.41).
2 The default file name for the picture is image+serial number, for instance image0001.
2 If a call comes in while you are checking or saving a picture, storage is cancelled. If this occurs, the
next time you select camera function a message appears to say that you have a picture that was not
stored, allowing you to check and store the picture.
2 Depending on the photo size, there may be parts not seen on the full screen view finder display in
the saved picture.
Zoom
When taking a picture in the camera finder screen, to zoom in and to zoom out.
2 The zoom function cannot be activated when an image size of 640 x 480 is selected. For a selected
image size of 320 x 240, you can zoom in only once, and for a selected image size of 160 x 120, you
can zoom in twice.
Camera (before taking a picture)
2 When in camera mode, the phone returns to standby mode after 2 minutes of idling.
2 You can display the quick keys by pressing # on the camera finder screen.

Self timer
(Quick key 1)
Activates or deactivates the self-timer function.When activated, a pic-
ture will be taken after 10 seconds when is pressed in the Cam-
era view finder.
Twilight
(Quick key 2)
Activates or deactivates the twilight function. When activated, the
exposure time will increase during photo taking due to the poor light
conditions.
Close up
(Quick key 3)
Activates or deactivates the close up mode.
Screen mode
(Quick key 8)
Sets the screen either normal or full.
