Link Layer sink control operations through front panel
The section describes how to configure the 882E Tx link layer parameters. You can
configure the link layer parameters through the DisplayPort Interface Options menu as
shown below:
Command: DPTX:SLNR 1 Sets the link rate to 2.7Gb/s. When
DPRX:LNKU is run, it will use this setting.
Query: DPTX:SLNR? Queries for the current value of the SLNR
parameter.
Item Setting Function
Output + Enabled
- Disabled
Enables you to Enable or Disable the
DisplayPort output.
Scrambler + Enabled
- Disabled
Enables you to Enable or Disable scrambling on
the DisplayPort output.
Lanes Toggle between:
1 lane
2 lanes
4 lanes
Enables you to specify the number of lanes
explicitely for link training or for use in forcing the
link to a specific number of lanes.
Rate Toggle between:
1.62Gb/s
2.7Gb/s
Enables you to specify the link rate explicitely for
link training or for use in forcing the link to a
specific rate.
