Testing DisplayPort sinks with HDCP
This section describes how to test DisplayPort sinks with HDCP.
To set up the generator for testing a DisplayPort sinks:
1. Connect a DisplayPort cable between the DisplayPort OUT connector on the generator
and the device’s DisplayPort input.
2. Activate the DisplayPort interface on the output port as follows:
a. Press the Interface key. A listing of signal interfaces appears on the generator’s
display as shown below.
b. Choose the DisplayPort item by pressing the adjacent soft key. The interface is
activated, and the port outputs the currently selected image and format.
Alternatively, to activate the interface through the command line interface, enter the
following commands:
XVSI 10 // Activates the DisplayPort interface
ALLU // Applies the interface setting to the generator
3. Choose a standard format (for example, DMT0660) by pressing the adjacent soft key.
Alternatively, you can load the format with the following command:
