Take electro-static discharge (ESD) precautions by ensuring that you are
properly grounded before performing this operation. Static charge (for
example, generated by your body, hair, and clothing) can transmit
enough energy to damage the tape drive.

SDLT 320 Bezel Replacement 0
Tool Needed 0 Small flat-head screwdriver or similar tool.
Remove the Existing Bezel 0 1 Place the tape drive on its left side.
2 Press down gently on the bottom right bezel tab (through the tab slot)
and pull the bottom right bezel corner away from the tape drive just
enough to clear the slot. Do not pull the corner out too far or you will not
be able to perform the next step (see figure 2
).
Caution: Quantum recommends placing the tape drive on a
conductive surface or mat that is tied to ground (zero
voltage), and wearing a static (grounding) strap on your
wrist to prevent transmission of harmful electrical charge
to the tape drive.
Caution: Do not use anything that could break off inside the tape
drive (like a pencil tip). Use a small flat-head screwdriver
or a similar tool.
