LIMITED WARRANTY
(EXCLUDING CNG CYLINDERS)
Except as provided below, the following warranty information is applicable to all
products and components designed and manufactured by Quantum Fuel Systems
Technologies Worldwide, Inc. (“Quantum”) or purchased by Quantum from another
manufacturer for resale to Quantum customers
This limited warranty does not apply to Quantum’s CNG cylinders. Quantum’s CNG
cylinders are covered by a separate limited warranty.
A. Limited Warranty Period:
1. For products or components manufactured by Quantum (excluding Quantum’s CNG
cylinder), the limited warranty period is 1 year from the original ship date from Quantum’s
facility.
2. For products or components purchased by Quantum from another manufacturer for resale to
a Quantum customer (“Third Party Products”), the limited warranty period will be the period
remaining on the warranty period provided by the original manufacturer to Quantum.
B. What this Limited Warranty covers:
1. Quantum warrants that products and/or components manufactured by Quantum will be free
from defects in material and workmanship and will meet the standards and/or specifications
identified on the applicable product or component.
2. For Third Party Products, Quantum will provide the same warranty that Quantum received
from the original manufacturer.
3. During the warranty period, Quantum will repair or replace defective or nonconforming
product in accordance with Quantum’s product return process. Quantum reserves the right to
retest or re-inspect any product returned with the claim that it is defective or nonconforming.
Quantum further reserves the right to make the final determination concerning proper
disposition of any returned product.
