Operating Procedures Using the Menu Mode

Note: After an operation is executed, the results displayed in the SDA, must
be cleared before the quick method of exiting will be available. To clear
the results of an operation from the SDA, press the
↑
or
↓
button.
Or the conventional method:
1 Use the
↑
and
↓
buttons to navigate to an
Exit
option, then press
the
SELECT
button. (This method will take you one-level up in the
menu each time that you perform it.)
2 Continue to perform step #1 until the following is displayed in the
SDA.
3 Press
SELECT
one final time to exit the menu mode.
Setting/Changing the
Library SCSI Address

To set or change the library SCSI address:
1 Enter the menu mode.
2 Press the
SELECT
button to choose the
Configuration
menu and
verify the following is displayed in the SDA:
3 Press the
↓
button one (1) time to bypass the
Inquiry
menu and
verify the following is displayed in the SDA:
4 Press the
SELECT
button to choose the
SCSI Address
sub-menu
and verify the following is displayed in the SDAl:
5 Press the
SELECT
button to choose the
Robotics
sub-menu and
verify the following is displayed in the SDA:
6 Use the
↑
and
↓
buttons to navigate to the SCSI ID number for the
library (
SCSI ID 0
,
SCSI ID 1...SCSI ID 7
).
7 With the proper
SCSI ID
number displayed on line #2, press the
SELECT
button.
8 Exit the menu mode.
