Live End Conduit Fitter
CONNECTS A TRACK SECTION TO FLEX OR HARD PIPE CONDUIT AT TRACK END.
DESIGNED TO ACCEPT STANDARD 1/2" TRADE SIZE CONDUIT FITTER (SOLD SEPARATELY).
1.Before installing, disconnect power by turning off circuit breaker or
removing fuse from fuse box.
2.IMPORTANT: Determine ground side of track (has indented groove
on face and two internal copper bars) and live end (side of live end
with two metal tabs). Can only be assembled if grounds are aligned.
3.Loosen set screw on dead end cap at appropriate track end and remove.
Loosen set screw on live end.
4.Aligning the ground sides of track and live end, push live end into open
end of track. Tighten set screws.
5.Remove covers (A&B) on live end and then attach 1/2" connector
(sold separately) with supply wires to the live end.
6.Feed supply wires through hole on live end. Attach the white
(Neutral - ) wire to silver screw on live end; attach black (Hot +) wire
to brass screw; attach green (ground) wire to green screw on live end.
7.Replace covers (A&B) and tighten screws.
