Nanotechnology is the manipulation of matter at an atomic and

molecular level — a nanometer is one-billionth of a meter, smaller

than the wavelength of visible light and a hundred-thousandth the

width of a human hair.

has developed Fusion Nano-Clean, a family of dry-erase

boards using nanotechnology that is completely resistant to staining

and ghosting, which is the number one consumer frustration point when

using a dry-erase board. Traditional dry-erase boards allow ink particles

(1,000nm thick) to penetrate voids in the surface. With Fusion

Nano-Clean, the “hydrophobic” surface is constructed of particles

from 1 to 100 nanometers in size. Ink can’t stain what it can’t

stick to. This ultimately results in lower maintenance costs

and a longer-lasting product.
