6.3.11 Tampering Alarm
The Tampering Alarm function protects the camera against tampering such as deliberate
redirection, blocking, paint spray, and lens cover obstruction by using video analysis. In
response to such events, it sends notifications or uploads snapshots to the specified
destination(s).
Detection of camera tampering is achieved by measuring the differences between the older
frames of video (which are stored in buffers) and more recent frames.
Tampering Alarm
Turn the Tampering Alarm function “On” or “Off”. The default setting is “Off”.
