1. Set the needle in the highest
position by turning the handwheel
toward you.
2. Loosen needle clamp screw
by using the screw driver.
3. Take out the needle.
4. Insert a new needle with
the at side away from you.
5. Push the needle into
the clamp until it stops.
6. Firmly tighten needle clamp
screw with screw driver.
Selection Of Needle
In general, ne threads and needles are used for sewing thin fabrics, and thicker
threads and needles are used for sewing heavy fabrics. Always test thread and
needle size on a small piece of fabric which will be used for actual sewing.
Use the same thread for needle and bobbin.
When sewing stretch, very ne fabrics and synthetics, use a BALL POINT needle. The
blue tipped needle effectively prevents skipped stitches.
When sewing very ne fabrics, sew over a piece of paper to prevent fabric distorting.
