In August of 2016, time trial testing on Quick Mount PV’s Tile Mount Products took place at Quick
Mount PV’s facility. Three dierent products were tested and each product went through three time
trials. The trials were conducted on an indoor test roof, and eight mounts were installed for each trial.
The installers were 3rd party and Quick Mount PV timed and monitored the trials. Results showed
that the Tile Replacement Mount was 26% faster than the Universal Tile Mount and 22% faster
than Quick Hook. The Tile Replacement Mount eliminates the need to cut tiles, resulting in the Tile
Replacement Mount saving time. Although there are a number of variables that aect installation
times, the Tile Replacement Mount will save on average a minute per mount.
