Concrete Patching Compound will cover
approximately 3.25 sq. ft (0.3 M

) at a 1/8” (3 mm) thickness.
INSTALLATION
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface must be clean and free of grease, dust, or loose particles.
Remove all loose stones and chips from damaged area before filling.
APPLICATION
Dampen the area to be patched. Apply to cracks or small spalled
areas using a margin trowel. For larger areas use a stainless steel
pool trowel or plastic trowel. Use heavy trowel pressure to force the
product into the surface. For small areas thicker than ¼” (6 mm),
apply a 1/8” (3 mm) layer first and allow at least 24 hours before
applying a second layer.
Curing: QUIKRETE
®
Concrete Patching Compound will form a
surface skin in 20 – 40 minutes and will become hard in 4 – 6 hours
depending on temperature and humidity. Additional curing will
continue for about 3 days, longer under low temperature and high
humidity conditions.
Clean up: Use soapy water and scrub with a stiff fiber brush before
material has dried.
PRECAUTIONS
Apply only when temperature is between 50
o
F (10
o
C) and 90
o
F

C). Do not apply if rain threatens or is predicted within 12 hours.
Wait at least 24 hours before painting. Use latex paints only. Protect
from freezing. Store between 35
o
F (2
o
C) and 100

C). Keep
container tightly sealed when not in use.

instructions herein. The product is not warranted as suitable for any
purpose or use other than the general purpose for which it is
intended. Liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement of

companies’ option, to refund the purchase price. In the event of a
claim under this warranty, notice must be given to The QUIKRETE

Companies in writing. This limited warranty is issued and accepted in
lieu of all other express warranties and expressly excludes liability for
