1.Before

(Quoizel recommends (2) people for the next 2 installations)

Using wire connectors (not supplied) connect the HOUSE GROUND WIRE to the

FIXTURE GROUND WIRE connect the HOUSE WHITE WIRE to the FIXTURE

SUPPLY WIRE (WHITE or RIBBED SIDE); connect the HOUSE BLACK (or RED)

WIRE to the FIXTURE SUPPLYWIRE (BLACK or SMOOTH SIDE). Wrap each

connection with approved electrical tape.

MAKING THE WIRING CONNECTIONS

beginning the installation carefully unpack and identify all parts referring

to the illustration.

Turn power to the installation point OFF at circuit breaker

3.Unfold the SUPPORT ARMS until lined up. Loosen the KNOB on the top end of the

FIXTURE CANOPY and remove the PLATE with the FIXTURE LOOPS. Locate the

SPACERTUBE, CHECK RING and the FIXTURE CANOPY over the COUPLING on

the top center of the JUNCTION BOX as shown. Securethem by threading the end of

STEM onto the COUPLING and tighten the HEX COUPLING against the FIXTURE

CANOPY with pliers.

4.Position the PLATE with the FIXTURE LOOPS back onto the top end of the fixture and

secure them with the KNOB. Handtighten until snug.

5. Locate the SIDEARMS. Matchthe holes on the SIDEARMS with the STUDS on the

STEM and the SUPPORT ARMS. Secure them together by threading the LOCK

BALLS onto the STUDS. Handtighten until snug.

6.Locate the FIXTURE CHAINS and determine the hanging height of the fixture.

Please note that depending on the chain material thickness, you might be required to

use chain pliers to spread links open. Proceedto attach the FIXTURE CHAINS onto

the FIXTURE LOOPS and the CEILING LOOPS.

7 Fasten the UNIVERSALCROSSBAR to the OUTLET BOX with (2) OUTLET BOX

SCREWS (not supplied). Proceed tothread LOCK NUTAand LOCK WASHERA

onto the top end of the NIPPLE. Thread the NIPPLE into the center of the CROSSBAR.

Locate LOCK NUT B onto the bottom end of the NIPPLE. Tighten LOCK NUTA

against the CROSSBAR with pliers until snug.

. With the proper connections made, proceed to thread LOCK NUT B and LOCK

WASHER B onto the bottom of the NIPPLE. Lift the CEILING CANOPY

upward and slip the center hole over the end of the NIPPLE Be sure that all

wires are carefully tucked into the OUTLET BOX cavity Secure by threading the

KNOB onto the end of the NIPPLE and hand tighten until snug

10. Position the SHADE over the SOCKET. Secure the SHADE by threading the

SOCKET COLLAR onto the SOCKET. Hand tighten until snug.

11 Install bulbs referring to fixture markings and or labels for maximum wattage

12 Restore power to the installation point ON Retain this sheet for future reference

Please make sure the STUDS on the side of the SPACER

TUBE line up with the STUDS on the SUPPORTARMS.
