GENERAL INFORMATION
Introduction
This chapter provides general information
about the pendants. It includes information
on the Mass Notify Pendants, displays,
alarms, and changing batteries.
Pendant
The Help Alert Mass Notification Pendant
is a small wireless transmitter that enables
users to call for assistance and to be
located within their facility. Upon activation,
it can vibrate to provide tactile feedback to
the user and a bright LED flashes until
cleared.
NOTE: To prevent damage to the Mass
Notify Pendant, avoid humid/wet conditions
and dropping the device.
When a user activates the Mass Notify
Pendant, an alert is generated and can be
viewed via the Help Alert Software.
Email and SMS notifications can be
configured to monitor for alerts or devices
requiring assistance (such as battery
replacement).
Display
The LED on the Pendant will provide
feedback on to what the Pendant is doing
(see the LED Light Guidelines for
additional information).
