To admit with a Pendant or Fall Monitoring device
1. Click Admit on the toolbar.
2. If necessary, swipe your identification card or enter your Login and Password then press Enter or click
OK.
The Admit Selection window appears (refer to Figure 3.3 on page 41).
3. Select New Admit.
4. Enter patient information (name and unit required).
5. Select the Transmitter tab.
6. Enter Transmitter ID number (printed on Pendant)
7. Click Add
The Admit Information window appears allowing you to select the transmitter type.

8. Select the Transmitter Typ e from the drop-down menu.
• Pendant
• Fall Monitoring
9. The Supervised option is selected by default. If desired, deselect.
NOTE: The Tr a n s m i t t e r tab will not appear until a QR device is configured into the system.
