Common Operations
Main Information
The Main information tab allows you to enter general information about the patient being admitted.
1. Click Main on the toolbar.
2. In the First Name box, type the first name of the patient being admitted (first or last name required).
3. In the Last Name box, type the last name of the patient being admitted (first or last name required).
4. Type the patient’s demographic information, Address, City, State, etc.
5. In the Transmitter box, type the 3-digit ID number printed on the alarming band transmitter to be
assigned to the patient.
6. In the Room box, type the patient’s room number.
7. Click Male or Female to indicate the gender of the patient.
8. Click the Risk level for abduction or elopement associated with the patient. Choices are Low, Medium
or High.
9. In the Unit box, select the unit to which the patient is currently assigned, even if the patient will not
remain in that unit (required).
10. In the Training Delivered field, indicate the type of training material used by entering the date training
was delivered to the patient.
Medical Information
The Medical Info tab allows you to enter medical information about the patient being admitted.
1. Click Medical Info on the toolbar.
2. In the Physician box, select the physician from the drop-down list. Physicians are entered into the
system during system configuration.
3. In the Attendant box, select the admitting nurse from the drop-down list. Nurses are entered into the
system during system configuration.
4. In the Allergies box, enter the patient’s allergies, if any.
5. In the Medications box, type the names and doses of medications that the patient requires.
6. In the Health History box, note any important medical information about the patient’s medical
history.
