Common Operations
Common Operations
The top toolbar provides shortcuts to commonly used tasks such as admitting, discharging, escorting, and
transferring a patient or asset. Additionally you can use the top toolbar to access the windows for adjusting the
banding material on an alarming band transmitter, viewing system reports and silencing audible alarms.
Admit
Using the Admit function, you can admit a patient or asset and enable the system to associate the transmitter with
information of the patient or asset being admitted. There are two ways to access the Admit window.
To admit a patient or asset from the Admit button
1. Click Admit on the toolbar.
2. If necessary, use your proximity card or magnetic/barcode card or enter your Login and Password then
press Enter or click OK.
The Admit Selection window appears. Patients, assets or Auto-enrolled alarming band transmitters that
currently exist in the census are listed in the window.
