3-2 Configuring Interface Information

To configure interface information:
1. Select a Link or Channel.
The Agent view is displayed for the selected object.
2. Select Configuration > Interface Info…
The Interface Information dialog box appears. There are two tabs: Info and
Link Data.

3. Click on the required tab.
4. Configure the desired parameters.
5. Click <Set>.

Parameter Possible Values / Remarks
Interface The selected interface.
Description Description of the selected interface.
Type The type of interface.
DS0 Bundle, DS1. Modem, E&M, FXO, FXS
Oper Status The operational status of link.
Up, Down
MTU (not available for Voice,
Channel, or Sub Link interfaces)
The maximum Transmit Unit for IP fragmentation.
Frames lager than MTU are fragmented into smaller units when sent through
the specified interface
