2.9 Port Level Diagnostic Tests
The Megaplex supports local/remote loopback testing and BERT testing. The
Diagnostics Testing function is available for all Megaplex-supported ports except:
• External port of TRE cards
• Internal ports of HS-U/1, HS-U/I and HS-S.
The Diagnostics Port Testing function is enabled when the following conditions exist
and Update operation succeeds:
ML Cards:
E1:
Connect' = Yes AND Line Type = E1-CRC(G.732NCRC)/E1-CRC-MF(G.732SCRC)
T1: Connect' = Yes AND Line Type = ESF
OR
For other IO cards: Connect = Yes, and a TSA connection with ML card exists

Running Diagnostic Tests

To enter the diagnostic test function:
1. In the Agent Card View, click a port.
2. From the Diagnostics menu, select Test…
The Testing dialog box appears.
