To attach a reusable ID-tag
• You attach a reusable ID-tag to a person’s apparel using a clip.
• You attach a reusable ID-tag to equipment using adhesive as follows:
1 Find a flat area on the piece of equipment that is protected from being hit or bumped.
2 Clean the area with alcohol and let dry.
3 Apply the tag with the adhesive using firm direct pressure for 10 seconds.
Note: After an hour, the adhesive is set at 75% strength. Adhesive is at full strength after 48 hours.
• You attach a reusable ID-tag to equipment using a lanyard as follows:
1 Slide the connector onto the tag backing.
2 Wrap the lanyard around the asset to secure as needed.
3 Attach the other connector to the tag backing.
Note: Keep the connectors in the track on the tag backing.
4 Clean the back of the tag with an alcohol wipe.
5 Remove paper from the adhesive.
6 Attach the backing to the tag using firm direct pressure for 1 minute.
Note: To replace a used lanyard tag, you peel off the old adhesive, clean both the tag and the tag
backing, and apply a new adhesive and follow the instructions for attaching a tag to equipment using a
lanyard.
