BASE STATION OPERATION

POWER
The Base Station is powered by 120VAC, 2.5A (max) using a standard IEC power cable to a low voltage
power supply.
Powering Up
To turn the Base Station on, press the POWER button (see #1 on Figure 1).
While the Base Station powers up, the following splash screen will appear:

DESIGNS . . .
Once the Base Station is ready for use, the Home Screen will be displayed.
Powering Down
To turn the Base Station off, press and hold the POWER button until the LCD screen goes blank.
HOME SCREEN
The Home Screen is the root of the UV-1G Base Station UI. It displays information regarding transmitter
power level, receiver status, Base Station link mode, and local headset status. The left portion of the
screen provides links to the main menu and RSSI screens.
