Battery Notes: b • • • • AAA When the sound weakens, replace the battery. Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury batteries.
2 Using the radio 1. Slide POWER OFF/ON to ON to turn on the radio. The last tuned station plays. 2. Slide AM/FM/FMST to select a band. 3. Turn TUNING to find a station. 4. Adjust the sound controls VOL and BASS BOOST OFF/ ON. Listening safely Do not wear headphones, earphones, or earbuds while operating a motor vehicle or riding a bicycle. This can create a traffic hazard and could be illegal in some areas. To protect your hearing: • Do not listen at extremely high volume levels.
BASS BOOST OFF/ON Switch to ON to enhance bass frequencies. POWER OFF/ON Turn the radio on or off. TUNING Rotate to find stations. Battery door AM/FM/FMST Slide to open. Slide to select a band. VOL Frequency indicator Adjust the volume.
Caring for your headset • Keep the headset dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately. • Handle the headset carefully. Do not drop it. • Use and store the headset only in room temperature environments. • Keep the headset away from dust and dirt, and wipe it with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new.
