The device uses your house’s AC wiring as an antenna to receive local broadcasts on TV Channels 2-69 and all FM radio stations. Lightning: For added protection, unplug the plug-in antenna from the outlet during a lightning storm or when leaving it unattended or unused for long periods of time. 6. Servicing: Unplug this product from the outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel when: • The unit has been exposed to rain or moisture. • The unit has been dropped or the enclosure is damaged.

Connect a coaxial cable (RG-6 or RG-59, not supplied) between your TV/VCR/FM receiver’s antenna input jack and the F-Connector output jack at the base of the plug-in antenna.Note: Your local Radio Shack store has a wide selection of coaxial cables.

The following suggestions will help you care for your antenna so you can enjoy it for years. Keep the antenna dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately. Liquids might contain minerals that can corrode the electronic circuits. Handle the antenna gently and carefully.

Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the antenna. Modifying or tampering with the antenna’s internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate your antenna’s warranty. If your antenna is not performing as it should, take it to your local Radio Shack store for assistance.
